On November 21-23, Astana hosted the III Euroasian Women’s Summit (EWS-3). The delegation of Bashkortostan took part in it headed by the Deputy Prime Minister of the Government RB Liliya Gumerova.
Issues of women’s possibilities expansion in the politics and business, social modernisation of society, and also prospect of partnership between the state and business became the main topics discussed at the Summit.
Participants were unanimous in opinion: the more funds the state will allocate in the social sphere, the more returns it will receive fr om the citizens.
The Summit program was divided into thematic sections devoted to economic aspects of the Euroasian integration, development of women’s entrepreneurship, partnership between the state and business, social modernisation, issues of leadership and personal growth. Besides, within the lim its of the international forum trainings and master classes, parade of leaders-participants, an exhibition-fair of products made by businesswomen were organised.
As the Government RB press-service informs, among production of the enterprises-participants of the exhibition a special interest was aroused by the Bashkortostan Republic’s stand. The State Unitary Enterprise «Agidel», JSC «Ufa Knitting Factory», «Valley of Sweets» from Tuimazy, JSC «Sterlitamak Bread-Baking Complex» became absolute leaders of demand.
The Production Director of the managing company «TAU Neftechim» Irina Shagimardanova was a special speaker on the subject of women’s business development in foreign countries, having told partners of the Customs Union about the practice of the Russian Federation in the given area.
The Euroasian Summit designated for Bashkortostan new prospects in social sector development, public health services, private business and partnership with the state, the press-service of the Government RB underlines.
