One third of Russians use mobile phones for the control over personal finance

One third of Russians use mobile phones for management and control over their financial operations. Thematic interrogation of citizens was spent by the National Agency of Financial Initiatives.

“The share of the population using mobile phones for management and control over financial operations gradually grows: 32 percent in 2012 against 20 percent in 2011,” authors of research mark.

Thus overwhelming majority of citizens do not manage their finance, and use phones first of all to receive SMS notifications about operations over their banking cards – 81 percent. The service on funds transfer from a mobile phone on the number of another subscriber is on the second place with an indicator of 21 percent. And only 11 percent of interrogated declared that they manage their banking account or electronic wallet by means of a mobile phone – seven and four percent, accordingly.
