Meat agricultural fairs will be held in Ufa till the New Year

From the second Saturday of December meat agricultural fairs will start their work in Ufa. The deputy head of Ufa administration Marat Galiullin said about it at the press conference in the mayoralty.

“With great pleasure we invite our agricultural producers, farmers to participate in fairs,” Marat Galiullin said.

Speaking about results of autumn agricultural fairs, he marked that their main part took place on 17 platforms of the city from September 15 till October 28.

“Agricultural producers from more than forty regions of the republic took part in fairs. The fairs were visited by about 250 thousand townspeople,” Marat Galiullin reported.

As he said, weekly about 1,5 thousand vehicles arrived at the fairs. For 16 fair days their quantity made more than 20 thousand. It was organised nearly 22 thousand trading places. The volume of sold production made almost 650 million roubles.

At the fairs about 11,5 thousand tons of potato, 6,7 thousand tons of various vegetables, 1,1 thousand tons of meat, 440 tons of honey were sold. Representatives of consumer market directorate marked that this year potatoes and other vegetables were sold much more than in the last year.

Meat fairs will be held at familiar to townspeople seventeen platforms of the city and will last up to December 30, the press-service of the Ufa administration informs.
