The majority of microcredits users negatively respond about this service - poll

Number of Russians which know about «fast credits» and those who hear about them for the first time is approximately equal. The poll on the subject of demand on microcrediting service was held by experts of the Public Opinion Fund (FOM).

23 percent of respondents affirmatively responded on the question about their awareness about a possibility to take on credit a small amount of money for a short term. The same quantity of people answered that they had heard about it. The negative answer was given by 51 percent of participants of the poll.

Thus awareness about microcrediting service is higher than average in million-cities, except for Moscow, and in cities with the population from 50 to 250 thousand people. Low popularity of this tool in the capital is connected with high competition between banks there.

From among those who knows and heard about microcrediting, 11 percent admitted that they had used this service. As it was found out, «fast money» is most demanded among Russians of middle age: in the category of 31-45 years 17 percent of interrogated used them. Among youth from 18 till 30 years this figure makes 13 percent, among 46-60-years old – eight percent, and among people over 60 years – three percent.

Thus the majority of users have negative impressions in relation to this service: such are almost twice more than those who are satisfied with it.
