The inter-regional conference on intellectual property market development will take place in Bashkiria

Fr om November 22 till November 23 in Ufa, the inter-regional conference devoted to pressing issues and prospects of the market of intellectual property development in Bashkortostan and Russia as a whole will take place in the building of Academy of Sciences RB,.

“Absence of innovative elaborations protection leads to piracy and intellectual property loss, losses in non-material capitalisation of companies, puts back innovative development at the state level. This problem became even more acute after Russia's accession to the World Trade Organization, the head of the Territorial Innovations Centre of Bashkortostan Arthur Bogdanov marks.

According to Arthur Bogdanov, summarizing lectures on intellectual property law and management of intellectual property objects, case studies and master classes will be held for young scientists, inventors and businessmen within the lim its of the conference.

Besides, innovators can show their projects to highly skilled experts from Moscow and St.-Petersburg and to receive their consultations on protection of inventions against non-authorised use.

Round-table conferences, discussions of problems in the branch, a summery seminar on changes in the patent branch in connection with Russia's accession to the World Trade Organization will be organised for experts and heads of enterprises.

At the round-table conference «Working out of republican strategy for the intellectual property market development» representatives of republican authorities will discuss strategy of intellectual property market development in the region.

Organizers of the conference are: Territorial Innovations Centre RB, the Centre of Cluster Development RB (GAU RNTIK "Bashtechinform"), Academy of Sciences RB; at support of the Ministry of Industry and Innovative Policy RB, Science Support Fund RB, Regional Branch of «Business Russia» organisation.
