Investment projects in the field of lumber development are successfully realised in Bashkiria

The Ufa plywood mill and Ufa plywood-board plant included into the holding «Bashkir Timber Industry Company» successfully realise two priority investment projects in the field of lumber development. This is «Large-scale Plywood Plant» (reconstruction of board manufactures) and «Creation of lumber complex in the territory of Bashkortostan».

As the Ministry of Industry and Innovative Policy RB informs, projects provide creation of more than 300 new workplaces.

Realisation of projects will provide rational use of prepared lumber, wood resources, decrease of energy consumption, and also will increase import-substituting products output.

Thanks to realisation of these investment projects, in many respects at the expense of output increase at two plywood plants of the company, it is expected, that in Bashkortostan the shipped production volumes in woodworking branch by 2013 will exceed volumes of 2010 almost twice, and will reach the level over five billion roubles.

Now the scale upgrading is conducted at the Ufa enterprises. At present 90 % of planned investments have been already made into modernised plants. It is planned to reach the project capacity in December, 2013.
