Agricultural producers from Holland will help to revive cooperative business in Bashkortostan

Visitors from Holland arrived with business visit on November 12 at the invitation of Bashkir regional department «OPORA Russia». In April this year the Agricultural consumers' cooperative – «Republican Agroindustrial Association» (consumers' cooperative "RAO") was founded. It should become the central organizational structure in modern system of republican cooperation. The large businessman Kornelis Vandenberg was the first from the Dutch part who entered it. He has already been co-operating for a long time with agricultural producers of the region.
“Holland has a wide experience in the field of agriculture, and it is very interesting to us. We hope our cooperation will be mutually advantageous and will yield good results,” the chairman of BRO «OPORA Russia» Denis Musin said.
The president of the company Royal Matrix Group B.V. Ton Verhoeven marked that there were quite good interrelations in agrarian and industrial complex sphere between Holland and Bashkortostan, they should have been developed.
“The main thing is transparency and predictability of business,” the Chairman consumers' cooperative "RAO" Ravil Gatin considers. “We created a structure which would work on a democratic basis, without risks for foreign investors. Besides we are ready to insure these risks. Everyone interested can enter our cooperative. It is very easy.”
Kornelis Vandenberg in his short report made in Russian marked that in Bashkiria there were positive changes, all conditions for investors were created, and he hoped that «all should work».
Ton Verhoeven added that agricultural land prices would become competitive advantage of the region due to their considerable difference from the European.
As to investments at the first stage it is 500 million roubles, and by the end of 2013 this sum will increase at least three times.
The representatives of the Dutch delegation are going to visit farms of Karmaskalinsky, Chekmagushevsky and Ishimbaisky regions. Business negotiations with heads of administrations of regions, with heads of farms, meetings in the Ministry of Agriculture of Bashkortostan and other departments are planned.
