UMPO represents the 117С engine at the «Airshow China-2012»

The Ufa Engine Industrial Association (UMPO) entering into the «United Engine Manufacturing Corporation» displays a novelty of Russian engine manufacturing – 117С product at the 9th Aviation & Aerospace Exhibition «Airshow China-2012» in the Chinese city of Zhuhai. The full-scale specimen of the engine is presented as a part of exposition of "Oboronprom" under the flag of Russian Technologies State Corporation.

As the UMPO department of corporate communications informs, the engine 117С is made for fighter Su-35С and is supplied to the Air Forces of the Ministry of Defence of the Russian Federation since 2010. It represents the turbojet double-flow engine with an operated traction vector which in comparison with the base engine AL-31F is higher by 16 % and makes 14,5 tons. In the engine the newest technologies and materials are applied. The product structure includes the re-orientated compressor of low pressure with the increased expenses of air and efficiency, the turbine of raised reliability with the improved system of blades cooling. The engine control system is equipped by a digital complex regulator and integrated into the plane control system.
