World Quality Day on November 8

Today is the World Quality Day. In Russia it is marked annually on the second Thursday of November and this year it falls on November 8.

For the last years, application of the best world experience, introduction of modern methods of management became one of indicators of regional activity. Thus, in Bashkortostan already about 500 enterprises make products by international standards ISO of 9000 series that is especially significant for work within the limits of the Customs Union and joining the World Trade Organization.

In the beginning of November the results of the All-Russia competition «100 Best Goods of Russia» are traditionally summed up. The Program with the same name started 15 years ago, and the present competition is anniversary.

The enterprises of Bashkortostan, as always, adequately presented our republic in the Program, and within the next few days an awarding ceremony of winners of the competition - 2012 will be held. Within the limits of the given Program the State Regional Centre of Standardization, Metrology and Tests in Bashkortostan Republic (TSSM) organizes the regional stage of competition «Best Goods of Bashkortostan». The centre also represents products and services of local enterprises at the federal level. This year 66 enterprises of Bashkiria apply for the rank of winners.
