Bashkiria has the lowest fare for electric transport in Volga Federal District

Bashkortostan confidently holds the rank of region with the lowest prices for public transport in the Volga Federal District. Thus, a trip cost by a tram in the republic makes nine roubles — according to Bashkortostan Statistics Agency. For example, in the Samara Region a trip by a tram costs twice more – 18 roubles. For the sake of justice it should be marked that it is the highest price in the district, average fare makes 13,5 roubles.

Going by a trolley bus costs nine roubles too in Bashkortostan, but here republic conceded its leadership to the Orenburg Region where this fare makes eight roubles. The most expensive trolley bus fare is in the Samara Region again – 18 roubles. The average fare in the Volga Federal District is 13 roubles.

As to motor transport, here Bashkortostan is in the middle of the list with an indicator of 14,33 roubles. The cheapest bus fare is in the Orenburg Region – 10,66 roubles, and the highest price is fixed in Nizhniy Novgorod – 17,26 roubles, Bashkortostan Statistics Agency reports.
