Nikolay Fedorov: «Correct agrarian policy is spent in Bashkortostan»

“Bashkortostan in any situation will find recources to support rural population,” the President of republic Rustem Khamitov told the Minister of Agriculture RF Nikolay Fedorov at the meeting held in Ufa on October 29, concerning state support of agricultural producers under the State Program of Agriculture Development for 2013 — 2020.

According to Rustem Khamitov, Bashkortostan is in the lead in the country on manufacture of milk, honey and koumiss. Also the region is included in the top ten on cattle breeding.

The Minister of Agriculture RF underlined that in Bashkortostan the correct agrarian policy is spent.

Also the federal Minister announced that till the end of the year Bashkortostan would receive in addition 55 million roubles for maintenance of young experts working in villages.

At the meeting the appointed today by the decree of President RB the Minister of Agriculture RB Nikolay Kovalenko acquainted participants with the main republican indicators in the agrarian sector. As he said, for January-September this year the volume of gross agricultural output made 82,3 billion roubles, that was 81,7 % by the corresponding period of 2011. The plant growing constituted 39,8 % (32,8 billion roubles), cattle breeding – 60,1 % (49,5 billion roubles) in the structure of products made. Current year from budgets of both levels, federal and republican, it is planned to direct to agrarian and industrial complex nearby 6 billion roubles as direct support.

For nine months in all categories of farms 1,4 million tons of milk were produced, 260 thousand tons of cattle and poultry were bred, that is more than the last year's level by 5 % and 2 % accordingly. Following the results of the year it is planned that volumes of milk manufacture will reach 1,7 million tons (103 % to the level of the last year), meat – 380 thousand tons (101 %), and also positive dynamics on cattle and poultry livestock will be kept.
