Bashkortostan and Japan agreed on creation of joint factories to manufacture of acrylic acid and ethylene

Negotiations about cooperation between Bashkortostan and Japan were spent by the President of Republic Rustem Khamitov and the Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Japan in the Russian Federation Tikahito Harada in Ufa, on October 30. As "Bashinform" informed earlier the official delegation of business community fr om Japan headed by Mr. Harada arrived to our republic for participation in the conference on trade, economic and investment cooperation between Japan and Bashkortostan.

The President and the Ambassador discussed a number of specific projects which will be realised within the lim its of bilateral cooperation. In particular, the decision on creation in the republic of factories on manufacture of acrylic acid and ethylene is accepted.

Also the parties discussed possibility to construct a rubbish recycling plant in Ufa. According to the Japanese party, this project for the republic is not only of economic, but also of social value.

Rustem Khamitov underlined that for the Japanese businessmen the most comfortable working conditions will be created in the republic.

“Any project will be in the sphere of interests of the Government of Bashkortostan Republic, the highest support will be rendered to it. I can personally guarantee that your business in Bashkortostan will develop,” the President assured, having marked, that except economic cooperation the republic welcomes also development of cultural contacts, exchange in the field of science, education.

Tikahito Harada from his part declared that «he is ready to make the maximum efforts» for cooperation strengthening in various spheres.
