The trust of Russians to dollar and euro increased from the beginning of the year, but rouble still out of competition. Such are conclusions of the experts of Public Opinion Fund (FOM). According to the polling spent by the Fund, by October the share of Russians which trust domestic currency more than foreign, decreased to 60 percent from 69 percent in March this year. At the same time the number of people trusting dollars almost doubled – 13 percent against seven, and the percent of preferring euros increased from eight to 11 percent.
Nevertheless overwhelming majority of Russians which have savings, still prefer to keep them in roubles, FOM sociologists report. And in spite of the fact that their share in comparison with the beginning of year decreased a little — from 89 to 87 percent, it all the same in times more than nine percent preferring to store the money in dollars (five percent of those in March) and three percent – in euro (this figure from the beginning of year remained invariable).
