Ufa takes the second place in the rating of 100 most convenient large cities of Russia

Ufa took the second place in the complex rating of 100 largest cities of Russia on living convenience. And among Russian million-cities Ufa showed the best result.

As the press-service of the capital administration informs, it was Krasnodar which became the leader of the rating, according to research of the St.-Petersburg Institute of Territorial Planning "Urbanika". The large cities of the country nearest to us among which are Yekaterinburg, Chelyabinsk, Samara and Kazan, occupy in the All-Russia rating the 9th, 11th, 14th and 20th places, accordingly.

Leadership of cities is determined, first of all, by presence of rather high standard of living and quality of the city environment. The rating main task is to define an optimum large city on parity of indicators price/quality.

According to the head of Ufa administration Irek Yalalov, the second place in such a prestigious rating is the deserved indicator.

– The Urbanika institute makes the rating independently, on the basis of open sources, statistical data and monitoring of living environment of large cities. In our opinion, it is result of works spent in the city in all directions of life activity: accomplishment, repair. At considerable support of the President of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov large international competitions and other events to be held in Ufa, investments are involved, Irek Yalalov marks.
