In Bashkiria sunflower harvesting comes to the end

Works on sunflower harvesting come to the end in the republic. According to all available data fr om the press-service of the Ministry of Agriculture RB, this oil-bearing crop is threshed on the area of more than 162 thousand hectares that makes 98 percent from the plan. In 28 of 37 regions of Bashkiria wh ere the sunflower is cultivated, its harvesting is already finished.

At the moment at average productivity of 8,3 centners per hectare in the region it is threshed almost 135 thousand tons of seeds.

Leaders on sunflower productivity are farms from Buzdyaksky (13,1 centners per each hectare), Chekmagushevsky (12,3 centners) and Ilishevsky (12 centners) regions RB.

The highest yield is in farms of Meleuzovsky and Sterlitamaksky regions. In each of these regions more than 11 thousand tons of seeds are threshed.
