1,4 million square meters of housing put into operation in Bashkiria

16 thousand flats are put into exploitation in Bashkiria for nine months of 2012. The total area makes up 1,4 million square meters. 353 square meters of housing is put into operation per one thousand citizens of the Republic.

Bashkir State Statistics Committee reports the main share of housing still falls on individual developers. Their share is 76,3% (78,3% in January-September 2011). They’ve erected more than 10 thousand own houses with total area more than one million square meters.

693,4 thousand square meters was put into exploitation in the countryside and more than 742 thousand – in urban zone.

At present time Bashkortostan holds the third place in Volga federal district by house building after Tatarstan and Chuvashia.
