Utility rates were discussed in Ufa

In Ufa increase of utility rates and prices was discussed at the session of the working group on control over housing and communal services reforming in Bashkortostan formed under the republican parliament. The chairman of the republican State Committee on Rates Fadis Salimgareev also informed that increase of further utility rates was inevitable consequence of economic processes as in the region, and in Russia as a whole. Now the State Committee works under formation of utility rates for 2013. Thus, since July 1, next year a single increase of prices for utilities is also expected. Roughly increase of prices for gas will make 15 %, electric power – fr om 12,4 % to 14,85 %, heat supply – 12,1 %, water discharge – 12,1 %. Fadis Salimgareev specified that the given indicators are only preliminary and will be finally approved at the end of current year. Besides, subsequently it is not provided to define the lim iting indexes of amount of payments by citizens, which are used now. In this connection the variant of recipient-oriented subsidies taking into account solvency of citizens is considered in the republic.

Members of the working group marked necessity to form the republican target program, which would provide alignment of rates in the region. For its elaboration municipalities should present their offers concerning possibilities to realise the offered initiatives at local levels.
