Decrease in quantity of occupational incidents is marked in Bashkiria

According to the current data by the State Labour Inspection in RB, for nine months 2012, 63 people died and 121 had severe traumas at the place of work.

One year ago 65 people died and 147 people with severe occupational traumas were registered in the region.

At the same time, in the republic growth of group accidents is marked. Thus, from January till September of current year it was fixed 36 such cases against 33 for the similar period of the last year in Bashkiria.

At the general tendency of decrease in occupational incidents the death-roll increase in the organisations occupied with mining operations, processing manufactures, generation and distribution of electric power, gas and water, wholesale and retail trade is marked.

Among the registered types of occupational incidents more often the following are registered: falling from elevations — 51 cases; exposure to moving, scattering, rotating subjects, parts, machinery — 48 cases, and also road traffic accidents — 30 cases.

In total from the beginning of the year state labour inspectors fined 130 official and six legal bodies for the infringements which had led to occupational incidents in the republic.

By results of accidents investigations 248 materials were directed to investigative authorities for initiating criminal prosecution.
