UMPO engineer has won the All-Russia competition of ecological projects

The process control engineer of Ufa Engine Industrial Association (UMPO) Sergey Anisimov became the winner of the All-Russia competition of projects «Ecological Safety and Nature Management: Science, Innovations, Management». The competition was spent by the All-Russian branch association of employers "Ecosphere".

Sergey Anisimov's research and practice work was recognised the best in the section «Industrial Ecology». The project developed by the young scientist-expert with the assistance of general chemistry department of Ufa State Aviation Technical University is devoted to topical issues of nickel contents decreasing in sewage waters and consumables saving.

Sergey together with his colleagues created and developed original unit which by electrochemical reduction of nickel ions allows to extract metal from solutions with 97 % efficiency. Thus, it is possible to return valuable compounds into production process. The device is implemented into manufacture and now successfully functions in the galvanic shop of UMPO. The annual effect from know-how use made more than 400 thousand roubles, net profit – more than 300 thousand roubles.
