Rustem Khamitov: «All conditions for hotels construction to be created in Ufa»

In Ufa the most comfortable conditions for new hotels construction within the limits of preparation for the summits of SCO and BRICS will be created.

“In Ufa quite large international events will be held. In December the Youth World Ice-Hockey Championship, next year – Winter International Children's Games will take place. In 2015 we welcome the summits of heads of the countries of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation and BRICS,” Rustem Khamitov said at the meeting devoted to preparation of Ufa to the international summits.

For today number of republican hotels is below the all-Russian level, the head of the republic underlined.

In total in Ufa there are 48 hotels, total number of rooms is about thousand. Thus the republican hotel business wins the first place in the Volga Federal District and the seventh in the country on profit-earning capacity.

The head of Ufa city administration Irek Yalalov presented to participants of the meeting projects of hotels which it is planned to be constructed in the city. It is the project with the Trading-Business Complex «Gostiny Dvor» with the total area of 49,79 thousand square metres and 198 rooms, combined with business centre for a fast return on investment. The second object is planned to be erected near to the Congress Hall. Also Irek Yalalov spoke about other projects. Among them there are hotels near the hippodrome "Akbuzat", opposite to Mayakovsky Square, along the Revolutionary Street, at the crossing of Tsurupy and Validi Streets, along Gogol Street, and the attached building to "Bashkortostan" Hotel for 139 rooms.
