«500 farms» program helps Meleuzovsky region to develop cattle breeding

The republican program «500 farms for 5 years» should take cattle-breeding branch onto a new higher level. It was declared the day before by the Deputy Prime Minister — the Minister of Agriculture RB Ernest Isaev during his working trip over the Meleuzovsky region.

The working visit of the Minister began with the opening of a commercial dairy farm for 510 heads of livestock in the Salavat agricultural enterprise. The agricultural company is the participant of the republican program «500 farms for 5 years». Thanks to this program the enterprise purchased a telescopic loader «JCB». For the further development of cattle-breeding the farm has all necessary preconditions: sufficient forage acreage, cattle-breeding premises, housing conditions, equipment and personnel.

The Minister examined new buildings of the M.Gafuri poultry-farming complex under erection in the region, and also the "Start" commercial dairy farm being under construction too. Here it is planned to open a cattle-breeding premise for several hundreds of livestock which will be equipped by the modern equipment and highly productive milch herd.

Summing up the results of the trip over the region the Minister marked good rates of works on farms restoration.
