Sunflower is harvested at 76 % of areas in Bashkiria

Four regions of Bashkiria — Arkhangelsky, Miyakinsky, Sterlibashevsky and Chekmagushevsky completely harvested sunflower, the press-service of the Ministry of Agriculture RB informs.

As the republican Agricultural Consulting Center marks, the leader on sunflower crop yield is the Chekmagushevsky region now. Here 12,3 centners of sunflower per hectare are received.

The Sterlitamaksky region is the first in the republic on milling — 10670 tons. In this region the total area of fields allocated for sunflower exceeds 11 thousand hectares. 87 percent of crop is already harvested. Sterlitamaksky farmers receive 11 centners per hectare.

As a whole over Bashkiria about 126 thousand hectares of sunflower, or 76 percent from the planned amount are took in. More than 101 thousand tons of sunflower are already milled now.
