Authorized persons for investments will start working in Bashkiria

An authorized person for investments will start working soon in every municipality of Bashkortostan, as the Minister for economic development RB Eugene Mavrin stated at the meeting of the association “The Council of municipal formations RB”, held on September 28 under chairmanship of the head of the Presidential Administration RB Vladimir Balabanov.

“The task for introduction of new technologies of work with investors and formation of investment climate in municipalities has become ripe” – the Minister said – “We understand that the work on making favorable investment climate can’t be done without changes at the municipal level”.

According to M-r Mavrin the technologies of work with investors, applied in Bashkortostan today, work only in sphere of investment projects, which cost begins from 100 million rubles. The Ministry for economic development RB says it is necessary to apply these technologies in relation to less expensive projects. Such projects should be developed with the help of new body – a connecting link between business and authority. Thanks to such institute it will become possible to remove excessive administrative obstacles and to accelerate various bureaucratic procedures.

Vladimir Balabanov thinks that this decision is correct.

“I think that deputies heads of municipal administrations for economics should become the authorized persons for investments and support of investment activity on the municipal territory will be the main function of such person” – the head of the Presidential Administration stated.
