Reconstruction of coordinated hydroelectric system in Kuban will give highly qualified workplaces to Bashkortostan

Republican of Bashkortostan introduced a project on localization of hydroelectric equipment production on its territory at the XI international investment forum in Sochi. The project will be completed in 2016.

Bashkortostan introduces its projects jointly with JSC “RUSHYDRO” in Sochi, in particular, the project for erection of a plant for production of hydroelectric equipment “RUSHYDRO-ALSTOM”. As it was reported earlier, this plant will give 500 additional workplaces to the Republic. The total volume of investments is more than 4 billion USD. Preparation of the site for construction of the future enterprise will begin at the end of September – the beginning of October.

The representative of JSC “RUSHYDRO” Alexander Kushvid explained that the model of Kuban coordinated hydroelectric system was demonstrated in Bashkortostan’s exposition. The contract for reconstruction of this system with the company “ALSTOM” was signed with the term of localization of the whole production cycle on the territory of Russia. Reconstruction will last 10 years. At that Republic of Bashkortostan offered maximally comfortable and attractive conditions for location of this production on its territory.

“Bashkortostan will receive additional workplaces, highly qualified and well paid, not only engineers but workers too” – Alexander Kushvid stated and added that the company will be busy with training of these specialists.
