Pupils are invited to participation in all-Russian innovational contest

The company “Siemens” announced the beginning of the VII all-Russian contest of innovational projects for senior pupils. The main goal of the contest is search and support of talented young people from Russia. The theme of the contest 2012-2013 is declared open. Its participants have to think about solution of actual problems of today’s world. Power engineering, industry, health protection, infrastructure and big cities will be the prior directions. Applications and projects will be accepted till January 15, 2013, inclusive.

The site of Ministry of industry and innovational policy RB reports for six years about 4200 pupils have taken part in the contest, sending more than 3500 applications and 3000 projects. 213 senior pupils, living in different Russian regions, have become winners of the contest. At present time the nominees study at the leading institutes of the country, including Moscow State University, Saint Petersburg State University and others. In 2011-2012 the contest was held under official support of the Federal Youth Affairs Agency and 161 regional departments and committees. Representatives of State Duma committee for science and science-intensive technologies take direct part in selection of the best projects.
