Problems of Russian helicopter industry development to be discussed in Bashkiria

The general director of JSC “Helicopters of Russia” Dmitry Petrov will hold a meeting with heads of the enterprises-members of this holding company and with participation of representatives of “OBORONPROM” on September 14 at Kumertau aviation production enterprise (KUMAPP). The meeting is dated to KUMAPP 50th anniversary.

The main subject of the meeting will be restructuring of local productions, opening of new lines for production of components for helicopters and production program in 2012-2015.

In the first half of the day Dmitry Petrov and his colleagues have visited workshops of KUMAPP.

For the reference: JSC “KUMAPP” specializes itself in production of civil and military helicopters, shipboard helicopters and in capital repair and after-sale service of helicopters.

JSC “Helicopters of Russia” is considered one of the world leaders in helicopter industry, the only designer and manufacturer of helicopters in Russia. Its headquarters are located in Moscow. This holding company consists of five helicopter plants, including KUMAPP, two design departments, the enterprise for production and after-sale service of componentry and a service company. The holding company was founded in 2007.
