An agreement of cooperation between Republic of Bashkortostan and “The Bank of Moscow” is signed

On September 11 the President of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov has held a meeting with the president of “The Bank of Moscow” Michael Kuzovlev in the Republic House. Problems of interaction on different directions – crediting of small and medium business, participation of the bank in modernization of housing and communal service complex and participation in electronic state purchases – were discussed in the course of the meeting, public affairs service of the President RB reports.

An agreement of cooperation between the Government RB and JSC “The Bank of Moscow” was signed at the meeting by the President RB Rustem Khamitov and the president of the bank Michael Kuzovlev. The document determines the order of interaction between the parties during realization of programs and projects for social-economic development in the Republic.

“The Bank of Moscow” is considered one of the biggest universal banks in Russia, which is found in the Top5 of Russian banks. It is very important for Republic of Bashkortostan to cooperate with such banks. “Our economic opportunities are well-known. We are moving forward in attraction of investors and construction of enterprises. The showings of the last six months demonstrate rather high investment activity in Bashkortostan” – Rustem Khamitov stated.

“We consider Bashkortostan strategically important region. Our division in Ufa works since 2006 but before that its work wasn’t too active. Now we want to make up the time we were loosing before. We are interested in financing the projects, developed on the territory RB” – Michael Kuzovlev said.

For the reference: “The Bank of Moscow” is considered one of the biggest universal banks in Russia. The VTB holding is the main bank’s shareholder (94,9%). The bank specializes itself in high-tech products and services and financing in sphere of small and medium business is considered one of the key bank’s priorities. The bank’s offices are opened practically in all big regions of the country (308 separate divisions all over the country).
