Government RB subsidizes purchase of fertilizers

Republican agrarians intend to sow at least 500 thousand hectares of winter crops this year. The majority of land areas are allocated for winter rye and the rest will be sown with wheat and triticale.

The Government of Bashkortostan helps farmers to buy fertilizers. 100 million rubles was allocated from the budget for subsidizing of these purchases. Press service of the Ministry of agriculture RB reports agrarians have already purchased more than nine thousand tons of fertilizers. The first deputy Minister of agriculture RB Nikolai Kovalenko reports Republican budget pays for 50% of fertilizers on one hectare but at that agrarians have to pay for the first 30kg.
