Sweepstakes to be launched at hippodrome “Akbuzat”

In the nearest future sweepstakes can be launched in Ufa. Horse race stakes are permitted on the federal level and now one may already stake on horses in Moscow, Pyatigorsk and Voronezh.

General Director of the hippodrome “Akbuzat” Alexander Kim says Ufa is ready for the forthcoming novelty.

“As soon as Russian Cabinet of Ministers grants a corresponding permission, the sweepstakes will be launched. At present time the hippodrome is kept on means of the Republican budget and even the entrance fee isn’t collected. According to Russian legislation 70% of money, collected on sweepstakes, is sent to payment of wins and the rest can be spent for development of our horse center”.

In opinion of specialists sweepstakes will arouse population’s interest in horse races and will raise the prestige of this kind of sport in our Republic.
