District conference of construction self-regulatory organisations will take place in Ufa

On September 4, a district conference of 27 self-regulatory organisations (SRO) of Volga Federal District will take place in Ufa. The delegation of National Builders Association (NOSTROI) headed by Michael Viktorov, representatives of the President RB Administration, Government RB, State Assembly and Gosstroy RB (Construction Committee) will take part in it.

Amendments to the charter of the National Builders Association, and also working out of the grounds and procedure to counteract self-regulatory organisations activity infringing the legislation of the Russian Federation are among the considered subjects.

Today in the country there are 243 construction self-regulatory organisations. Their main task is to provide high quality of civil and erection works on construction of objects, prevention of hazards to life and health of people, preservation of property of legal bodies and individuals. To perform this tasks SRO employees should provide the control over compliance to technical regulations, to more than 74 standards and more than 55 SNiPs (construction norms and rules).

At the district conference, besides the topical issues, the attention will be paid to reports of members of NOSTROI Council, to experience exchange in standard-setting work and to interaction with the state bodies, the press-service of Gosstroy RB informs.

The conference venue is the Ufa Congress hall.
