Experts estimated work of Bashkiria authorities on investment climate improvement

Work of Bashkortostan authorities on investment climate improvement was estimated by experts of the Ministry of Economic Development of the republic and Agency of Strategic Initiatives (ASYA) at the session of the expert group, which took place in Ufa. Conformity of the given activity to the all-Russian standard became the main criterion.

On the second session of the expert group the question of meeting by the region several standard requirements was considered: execution of works on regional investment strategy working out, presence of unified regulations of investment projects support by a principle of "a single window», the regional law on protection of investors rights and mechanisms of investment activity support, presence in the region of development institutes on investments attraction and work with investors, procedure realisation to estimate the regulating influence of the accepted regulatory legal acts and those to be accepted.

According to the First Deputy Minister of Economic Development RB Alexander Maryin, the majority of offered measures are already realised in the republic. In particular, the legislative base providing guarantees of investors’ rights is formed, «the single window» works.

Following the results of the session members of the expert group – businessmen, public representatives, scientists - recommended to include in the regulations the schematic description of the mechanism to support investment activity in Bashkortostan and to place this information on open access.
