Four forest fires were extinguished and three fires were contained in Bashkiria

199 forest fires with a total area of 1380,97 hectares were registered in Bashkiria from the beginning of fire-hazardous season-2012.

Four of them – in Zilairsky and Zianchurinsky areas were liquidated the day before, on August 14, the press-service of the Ministry of Forestry RB informs.

Besides, at the moment three ignitions in Zianchurinsky, Burzyansky and Avzyansky forest areas are localised.

In total from the beginning of fire-hazardous season more than 3600 people and 1000 units of special equipment were engaged in fire suppression in republican forests.

Experts of the ministry continue to carry out the enforced land and aviation patrol of woods. Only for the past days more than 1300 people were on patrol.

For today 88 flights over territory of Bashkiria forest fund on the established aviation routes were executed. Total time of flights reached about 433 hours.
