Airport "Ufa" announces competition on the best project for air-terminal complex

International airport "Ufa" will go through scale reconstruction and expansion. In this connection competition is announced for elaboration of architectural-planning concepts of stage-by-stage development of air-terminal complex with the landside enlargement and drawing up of the airport master plot plan.

According to the main requirements to architectural-planning decisions, development of an air-terminal complex should consist of three stages. The first stage is a three-level terminal built from the East side to the terminal of internal airlines with total area of 19 thousand square metres. The second stage is construction of a new building of the airport passenger terminal along the existing internal airlines terminal with a total area of 8,6 thousand square metres. The third stage is construction of a new three-level terminal on the place of the operating international terminal with the total area of 13,5 thousand square metres.

As organizers of the competition inform, the whole air-terminal complex should have uniform architectural style, including accomplishment and gardening of the landside areas.

Competition will be spent till August 31 current year. Authors of the best projects will receive monetary prizes of 50000, 30000 and 20000 roubles.
