Electric power generation decreased in Bashkiria

Electric power generation by JSC "Bashkirenergo" for June, 2012 decreased by 10,2 % concerning March, 2011, having reached nearly 1,5 billion kilowatt-hours. It is caused by decrease in the hourly average price in the market, and also low inflow of water to the reservoir site of Hydroelectric Power Station, the company press-service informs. Thus, electric power generation by "Bashkirenergo" for the first half of the year made more than 11 billion kilowatt-hours that is by 4 % less than for the first half of the year 2011.

For a month electric power generation in Russia as a whole increased by 0,8 % to 73,7 billion kilowatt-hours in comparison to June last year, and in the Ural Bulk Electricity System decreased by 3,6 %, having reached 18,4 billion kilowatt-hours. The share of power stations of "Bashkirenergo" in the all-Russian electric power generation made 2,09 % in June, and in the Ural Bulk Electricity System it constituted 8,37 %.

In June heat supply by the company was reduced to 5,9 % comparing to June last year and made 873,47 thousand Gcal. The reduction reason is termination of service of the rented property in "BashRTS" LLC. Total for the first half of the year heat supply by JSC "Bashkirenergo" made over 13 million Gcal, that is by 5,3 % less, than the similar indicator of the last year.
