The second All-Russia Festival «Dairy Country» to be held in Ufa

The President of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov has signed the order concerning carrying out of the All-Russia Festival «Dairy Country — 2012», on September 8, in Ufa, the press-service of the President RB informs.

The festival main objective is to propagate healthy food, revive culture of dairy products consumption and supply the consumer market with quality dairy products by local manufacturers.

The National Union of Milk Manufacturers and also a noncommercial organisation «Dairy Union of Bashkortostan» and enterprises of dairy branch become organizers of the festival, as in the previous year.

It is planned to involve milk and dairy products manufacturers and also trading organisations of Bashkortostan and other subjects of Russia in participation in the festival.

It should be mentioned that the first great holiday of milk in Russia took place in the Bashkir capital on September 3-4, 2011. The republic was chosen for a reason. According to experts, Bashkortostan on cattle stock and milk manufacture wins the first place in the country.

Within the limits of the festival its visitors had possibility to participate free of charge in many informative and entertaining competitions devoted to milk and dairy products.
