80 countries of the world are trading partners of Ufa

The share of Ufa enterprises in the foreign trade turnover of Bashkortostan following the results of the first half of the year made more than half from total amount. Trading partners of the republican capital are 80 countries of the world. China (55 %) became the largest partner in export; it is followed by India, Finland, Ukraine, Azerbaijan and Algeria.

Uzbekistan (23 %) became the leading partner in import. Among other major partners of Ufa enterprises it is possible to name Ukraine, China, the USA, France, Italy and Romania.

According to Bashkortostan customs, the foreign trade turnover of Ufa enterprises for six months 2012 made 617,3 million US dollars, that is by 18,7 % less than in the first half of 2011. Export decreased by 40 % and made 368 million dollars; import increased by 75 % and made 248 million dollars.

76 % of volume of the foreign trade turnover, 88 % of export and 58 % of import were provided by the trade with the far abroad countries. Goods turnover with these countries in the first half of the year made 473 million US dollars, including export – 326,6 million dollars, import – 146,4 million dollars. In comparison with the first half of the last year decrease in cost volumes of export by 42 % and increase in volumes of import by 61 % was observed in trade with the far abroad countries.

The basic structure-forming export goods were: mechanical-engineering products – almost 70 %, organic chemical compounds – 15 %, metals – 5 %, mineral fuel – 4,6 %. The structure-forming import goods were— mechanical-engineering products – 74 %, chemical products – 5,8 %, electric equipment – 10 %, metals – 5 %.

It should be also marked that for a half-year by Ufa administration it was spent more than 30 meetings and negotiations with representatives of official and business communities of foreign countries and regions of Russia.
