Experts of WTO in Bashkortostan place stake on a small-scale business

Experts of representative office of the Institute of Problems World Trade Organization (WTO) in Bashkortostan pay great attention to problems of small and medium business. One of heads of the representative office, Vyacheslav Raichfeld informed about it in view of the recent ratification of the Report on Russia’s Joining WTO.

In the territory of Bashkortostan the experts of the Institute work, mainly, with representatives of small and medium business: listen to their opinions, remarks, comments. Work of our experts is aimed at decreasing risks of loss of the invested funds by foreign investors and increasing of success probability of business projects, Vyacheslav Raichfeld marked. A special interest to problems of small and medium business is connected with the fact that all over the world it brings 75-80 percent of incomes to the state. In Russia, according to the analysis conducted by experts of the Institute only large enterprises are «under the wing» of the state.

According to the experts of the Institute, it is quite difficult and at times almost impossible for small and medium business to be engaged in industrial or other serious activity and to be regarded as competitors in the international markets.

The main efforts at the moment should be made to sell competitive production in the foreign markets, only under these conditions our economy will grow, Vyacheslav Raichfeld underlined.

As "Bashinform" informed earlier, the experts of the Institute of Problems WTO have been working in Ufa since 2011. Experts of the independent international research centre which head office is located in the USA, study a status of various segments of the international relations affecting the nuts-and-bolts matters of the world trade.
