Natural park "Iremel" can become a zone of adventure tourism in Bashkiria

At the bottom of the legendary Iremel Mountain journalists and officials discussed problems of the natural park development.

Participants of the round table-conference marked necessity to improve transport accessibility of the territory of the natural park, development of tourist infrastructure, organisation of parking, accommodations, catering. After all Iremel is one of the major centres of tourist streams in the territory of Bashkortostan.

The State Committee RB on Business and Tourism will take measures to include the project into the financing plan of the federal and regional budgets.

Possible directions of development of tourism sphere in the republic were designated by the President of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov at the meeting which took place on March 9, 2011 with representatives of the Bashkir tourist community. Then it was said about necessity of large investors’ attraction to Bashkortostan.

Tactics of tourist marketing of the natural park "Iremel" should be built on the basis of searching and finding of common interests between the management of the park, local residents and, of course, tourist community, it is considered in the State Committee.

Now the Government of Bashkortostan in the name of the State Committee carries on negotiations with the international financial and operational group of the integrated tourist clusters concerning building in the territory of our region of the Integrated Tourist Cluster «BashkortostanWorldCentre». The approximate amount of the off-budget investments into the project makes 4 billion US dollars. Taking into consideration that the project is provided for creation and service of a tourist stream of more than 8 million people a year, it will improve macroeconomic and infrastructural environment of tourist clusters projects and will create up to 25 thousand workplaces.

From its part the republic is intended to grant tax incentives to the project investors: decrease in the rate of the company profit tax for 4 percent within five years, and also exemption from payment of corporate property tax in a part transferred into the budget of Bashkortostan within three years from the moment of the state registration of the legal entity.
