International airport "Ufa" welcomes the millionth passenger!

Today at the International airport "Ufa" the millionth anniversary passenger was served from the beginning of the year.

This year the millionth passenger is registered a month earlier than the last year that testifies to substantial growth of passenger transportations volume, the airport "Ufa" authorities reports.

It should be reminded that following the results of the first half of the current year the general growth of passenger traffic volume compared to the year 2011 made 16 percent. Last year it was served in total about 1,7 million passengers.

For today the International airport "Ufa" is an air gate of Bashkortostan and is included into ten leading airports of Russia. Occupying one of the leading positions in the Volga Federal District on passenger transportation volume, the Ufa airport is by right considered one of the largest transport-logistical centres.

Through the Ufa airport communications with tens of cities in the territory of Russia, in the CIS countries and the far abroad are carried out. Presence of the developed airport infrastructure and modern equipment allows serving flights according to all international requirements and standards.
