Iran is interested in engineering services of Bashkortostan

The first forum and exhibition of economic and industrial cooperation of Iran with the Russian Federation takes place in Moscow. The event purpose is to discuss issues connected with a status and prospects of trade and economic cooperation between two countries. 126 Iranian and more than 50 Russian companies take part in the forum work. Bashkortostan is represented by the vice-president of Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI) of the republic Pavel Barmin, by top management of JSC NPP "Burservice" and JSC "VNZM", the press-service of CCI RB reports.

On the first day of the forum the session on bilateral cooperation development in the field of industry, oil and gas was held where Pavel Barmin acted with presentation of economic and industrial potential of Bashkortostan and also presented a consortium of enterprises of oil and gas branch.

The Iranian party expressed interest in cooperation on engineering of oil and gas manufactures, especially at works on a sea shelf. Besides, attention of foreign colleagues was attracted by aviation engines and gas turbine power units manufactured by JSC UMPO and JSC KumAPO. The parties agreed on detailed preparation of offers from Bashkiria enterprises.

Representatives of the Iranian party also plan to develop cooperation with the regions of Russia exporting oil, gas and products of their processing, glass, ceramic tile, pharmaceutical production, products from silk and wool.

In turn the Republic of Iran is ready to import paper, timber, to co-operate on joint developments in the field of mechanical engineering, petrochemistry, metallurgy and energy sector.
