Companies from Bashkiria became winners of the 3D-modelling international competition

In the international competition of computer 3D-modelling in "mechanical engineering", in the category of projects up to 200 parts, the first and second places were occupied by engineers from Bashkiria. The first place was won by LLC "Maxprom" (Ufa), the second by JSC «Neftekamsk automobile plant».

The organizer of the competition is ASKON company, the leading developer of the engineering software, the founder of the popular system KOMPAS-3D.

The strongest engineering teams from Russia, Ukraine, Belarus and Kazakhstan took part in the tenth anniversary competition. They submitted 61 projects for the competition: computer 3-D models of machine-building products and construction objects and CAD applications expanding possibilities of the KOMPAS-3D. The leading Russian and foreign IT companies acted as the competition partners.

LLC "Maxprom" presented 3-D model of the unit which is applied in mechanical engineering at manufacturing of bellows elements for the competition, the organizers informed. The unit totals 108 parts, 35 of them are unique. The Neftekamsk automobile plant presented 3D-model of platform for the competition.

Awards were handed over to the winners in Moscow. It is not the first victory of representatives of our republic in the international competitions of 3D-modelling. Last year youth competition was won by students and schoolchildren.
