Bashkortostan President ordered to suspend road repair «Ufa —Airport»

The President of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov ordered to suspend repair works at the highway "Ufa - Airport". The reason was the results of the carried out expertise which revealed poor-quality roadway replacement works. Durability of asphalt appeared 25-30 % below standard.

Is means that in one and a half-two years a track is to be formed here again, and we should seek for 400 million more for asphalting parts of highway "Ufa-Airport", the head of the republic said. We can’t afford every two years to spend 400 million roubles for such roads asphalting. There the road should lay for ten years, or 15 years if it is possible.

The President demanded in short terms to make the technology of asphalt laying meet GOST. Now it is necessary at the expense of the contractor to lay new strong asphalt instead of laid out rejected, and also to tighten work with contractors. The President RB charged to open a special laboratory in Ufa for control over quality of construction and road works which should work permanently.
