Officially there are 24 thousand of unemployed in Bashkiria

In the first half of 2012 more than 196 thousand people applied to the republican employment service for granting of various state services. About 59 thousand from them addressed for help in searching for suitable jobs.

Number of those who found jobs with assistance of employment service bodies exceeded 43500 people. For this time almost 28 thousand inhabitants of the region were recognised as unemployed.

By the end of June in Bashkortostan 24 thousand of unemployed people were officially registered, Directorate of Employment Public Service RB reported. The level of the registered unemployment made 1,2 percent.

The demand for workers, fixed by the republican employment service, makes now more than 48 thousand people. In total from January till June 2012, enterprises and organisations of Bashkortostan submitted to the labor registry office the information on 156 thousand vacancies.

The intensity factor, or ratio of unoccupied people and numbers of vacancies, by the end of the first half of the year makes 0,5.
