Utility rates increased in Russia since July 1. The Republican State committee on rates reported about new rates established in Bashkortostan.
Thus, the cost of 1 kilowatt-hour of the electric power for the urban population living in houses, equipped with gas cookers, increased from 1,91 roubles to 2,02 roubles. Natural gas is sold to the population at the price of 3,94 roubles per cubic metre (used to be 3,43).
Rates for heat energy in Ufa are increased from 711,66 roubles per gigacalorie to 754,36. The rates for water discharge services make for the population 9,80 roubles per cubic metre against 9,25.
The rate for cold water supply is increased from 10,86 to 11,51 roubles per cubic metre.
In the State Committee reminded also that one more increase of rates for water and heat will occur from September 1, 2012. It is not planned to raise prices for electricity and gas any more this year.
