100 % shares of Blagoveshchensk Valves Plant became the property of OMK-Holding

100 % shares of JSC «Blagoveshchensk Valves Plant» belong now to the Moscow company — OMK-Holding. The Federal Antimonopoly Service considered the petition of Joint-Stock Company "OMK- Holding" for acquisition of full holding of shares of the oldest enterprise of Bashkiria, which principal type of activity is manufacture and sale of pipeline valves.
As FAS established, according to the Article 28 of the Law on Competition «the given transaction will not lead to competition restriction in the market of pipeline valves in the Russian Federation». The information about it is placed on the website of Russian FAS.
The revenue of Blagoveshchensk Valves Plant according to the enterprise, made 3,14 billion roubles last year. Capacities of two steelmaking shops are 6000 tons a year. The plant is founded in 1756 by Simbirsk merchant Matvey Myasnikov. Since 1949 the enterprise specialises on manufacture of steel pipeline valves.
The plant is located in the city of Blagoveshchensk, in the administrative centre of Blagoveshchensk area of Bashkortostan, in 42 kilometres from Ufa.
