Ufa is among leading mega-cities on rendered consumer services

Ufa takes the second place in Russia after Kazan on volume of consumer services rendered among cities with more than million of population.

On preliminary data, in 2012 the turnover of enterprises in the sphere of consumer services should make 6,1 billion roubles in the capital of our republic. In 2011 the turnover of enterprises reached 5,7 billion roubles, website of Ufa administration informs.

At the moment about 2200 enterprises and individual businessmen work in the sphere of consumer services in the Bashkir capital. More than 18 thousand people are occupied in the branch.

Thus in the structure of consumer services car-care centres prevail – 30 percent, and also hairstyling services — 18 percent.

According to the head of coordination and regulation of services department of Ufa Administration Olga Zavyalova, for the first half of the year 2012 more than 30 new enterprises working in the sphere of consumer services are opened in the capital.

In Ufa the share of economy class enterprises with large spectrum of rendered consumer services increased. These are services of cosmetology salons, beauty centres, dry cleaning, and also dyeing sheepskin coats, fur coats and other products from fur and leather.
