Share of unprofitable enterprises goes down in Bashkiria

Bashkir State Statistics Committee published financial results of activity of Republican enterprises in the first quarter of the year. In January-March 2012 earnings of big and medium enterprises amounted to 22,8 billion rubles. As compared with the same period of time in 2011 this figure makes up 68,9%. The share of unprofitable enterprises dropped from 24,9% in January-March 2011 to 22,1% (312 of 1412 enterprises).

Losses of unprofitably functioning enterprises amount to 15,6 billion rubles, increasing 3,2 times or 10,8 billion rubles as compared with the last year. The largest sums of losses – 12,4 billion rubles – are registered in sphere of transactions with immovable property, leasing and services, Bashkir State Statistics Committee reports.
