Bashkiria stands on the fifth place in Volga federal district by the level of wages
The average monthly wage per one worker in the first quarter of 2012 in Bashkiria amounted to 18300 rubles. By the wage level our Republic stands behind the average all-Russian salary by 26% or 6500 rubles and holds the fifth place in Volga federal district.
The lagging of Bashkortostan from Tatarstan in the level of average monthly wage is equal to 2500 rubles, from Perm region – 1200 rubles, from Samara and Nizhniy Novgorod regions – 900 and 700 rubles correspondingly. At that salaries in such spheres as agriculture and forestry, building, trade, hotel business, education, health protection, social and other services stand behind the average wage in Bashkiria by 5-50%.
For example, the average monthly wage in agriculture and forestry in January-March 2012 was equal to 9299 rubles, in building sphere – 17950, in trade-14461 and in education sphere – 12992 rubles.
