Geo-informational portal of basic spatial data will start working in Bashkiria beginning from July 1

Geo-informational portal of basic spatial data will be put into exploitation in Bashkortostan beginning from July 1. Therefore the sub-system of the portal of public services, rendered by the Russian Register Service in electronic form, providing publication, search and downloading of basic spatial data, will be launched for PC, the press-service of Russian Register in Bashkortostan reported.

Formation and presentation of the unified spatial description of objects and territories will raise the level of investment attractiveness of Bashkortostan and higher efficiency in the use of budget means at all levels. In this connection participation of the Republic in the federal program for preparation of spatial data databases will positively affect its economic development. The infrastructure of spatial data will help to reduce budget expenses when composing databases due to exclusion of double works. Besides, such infrastructure has to positively influence upon stimulation of investment policy in the region.
