30%-growth of severance tax collectability is registered in Bashkiria

Severance tax proceeds have grown almost one third in Bashkiria. In January-April 2012 its volumes amounted to 18 billion 938 million rubles – by 32,9% (4 billion 667 million rubles) more than for the same period of time in 2011, Federal Tax Service in RB reported.

“Almost 99% of severance tax is provided due to oil mining. The proceeds of severance tax on oil mining operations amounted to 18 billion 757 million rubles for four months of 2012 – the growth is 4 billion 667 million rubles or 33,1%. Such jump occurred due to the rise of “Ural” oil prices in Mediterranean and Rotterdam’s oil raw materials markets, which the monthly oil mining tax rate depends upon” – press-service of the Federal Tax Service in RB reported.

As the news agency “Bashinform” reported earlier, in January-April 2012 tax officers of Bashkiria have collected almost 67,5 billion rubles of taxes – by 8,9% more than in 2011.
